Children & Foul Language – Parenting Tips!

For parents it is mind boggling when it comes to their children uttering these words in front of other people.
Here are some parenting tips in dealing with children who use foul language.
1.Be a good role model for the child. If you are in a fight with someone , keep in mind not to utter bad words as children usually become a cloning of their parents. They feel what their parents say is right and they usually repeat the same language when they come across the same situation.
2.As a parenting tip, when your child blurts out foul language, tell her/him it it not right. Teach him to show respect to who he/she talks to and that bad words will only gain a bad reputation.
3.Set aside some bad examples to tell your children in regard to foul language. Make them known that this kind of behavior will not get them anywhere in the society and that they will be looked down upon.
4.One important parenting tip to follow is to cut sources of foul language. If your child watches a certain serial on television make sure it is blocked by you. Keep a track on the friends your child keeps and find the initial source of where your child is learning the foul language from.
5.A best parenting advice in dealing with children who use foul language is to penalize them temporary so that they know what they are saying is wrong. Punishing them is the best way for them to learn.
You can also reward your child once he/she finally stops using foul language. In this way they will feel happy and will not make another mistake in using bad words again. These are some basic parenting tips for you to follow.
