Must Have Travel Accessories For Toddlers

By Staff

While traveling with a baby or a toddler, most of the parents carry loads of luggage. It would not be a surprise if you find any of them taking a kitchen sink with them. Relax. Traveling with kids can be fun, with these kids travel accessories.

For Toddlers
Forehead Thermometer
Change of place and weather can make your child sick. To keep a check on its temperature always carry a small forehead thermometer, that can be placed on the child's forehead to give you a rough gauge. These are quick and simple to use and easy to pop into a handbag or baby's changing bag. You can get them from most chemists. If not just do a Google search and buy them online.

Travel Cot
Get a 'Pop UP Sleep Easy' cot for your baby. This can double up as a play pen. It includes soft and comfy bedding and a mesh front to protect your baby from insects and pets. It is a useful little portable bed to put your baby in for a daytime nap.

The PiddlePad
PiddlePad, is a must if you are traveling in a car for long hours. Car seats can increase the risk of diaper leaks and blowouts (especially during potty training) for the kids. This car seat line helps in limiting such accidents, as this quilted terry liner can wick away moisture from your child. Its, waterproof vinyl shell protects the car seat. It is easily washable and is available in varied colours.

Insect Repellent
Kids can get miserable when bitten by insects like mosquitoes. So ensure to carry an anti bug bite moisturizer, especially while traveling to places where malaria is prevalent. It is safe and gentle on baby's skin and smells divine.
Sun Tent 'A day at the beach with your baby' may sound fun, but in reality its a tragic tale for your babies skin. To avoid it, get a pop-up tent. It is ideal as you can place your baby or child inside in the heat of the day. These tents are quick to assemble and light and easy to carry. You can find them from any nursery stores.

Inflatable Bath
Pack in an inflatable bath tub, if you do not want your kid to miss an evening summer splash on a holiday. It is suitable from birth to six months.
