The poet who burned himself

Holding a big piece of rock he climbed on the roof. Sitting on the roof and waiting for the master he started thinking things one by one.
Since he joined the school master has been scolding him for silliest things. "I can no more tolerate Master's behaviour. Today I will kill him. I will drop this stone on his head." Sukumaran decided.
"I am the most humble among the students. But Master was always rude to me."
Suddenly Sukumaran heard the footsteps of somebody. He listened carefully. "Yes it is them, master and wife."
Both of them entered the house and lit the lantern. They sat down for dinner.
Master's wife asked him "Master why do you always scold Sukumarn? He does everything properly right?
"Oh! you noticed that?" asked master.
"Sukumaran is the best student in this school. His mind is like gold. But I also see few drawbacks in him. When I scold him I want to make him the best human being."
Hearing this on the roof Sukumaran was wonder stuck and the same time he felt guilty too. "I tried to kill the master who loves me the most." He started crying and when Master was fast asleep he came down and went to his. But he couldn't sleep a blink that night.
Burning with guilt Sukumaran went to his master early in the morning.
"Master I want to ask you something." "What is the right penalty for a student who tried to kill his Master?"
Master told him "Such a student should burn himself in fire"
Hearing this Sukumarn made a big fire and stood in it.
Then only master understood that it was for Sukumaran himself he asked the penalty. He asked Sukumaran to get out of the fire. But Sukumaran was not ready to do that.
Standing in the fire he started singing a poem, which is later known as 'Srikrishna Vilasam Kavyam'. But Sukumaran could not complete the poem. When he sung the sixty sixth verse, he died.
Thus the voice a genius was silenced for ever. But his memories alive even today and he is ever known as the symbol of devotion to teachers.
