Does Breast Milk Aid Heart Development?
A new study claims that breast feeding can play a very important role in the health of premature babies. This study also says that breast milk can improve the heart health of premature babies and this may also help the baby even in adulthood.

This study claims that babies who were given only breast milk had better heart function and development compared to other babies who were given formula milk.

Health experts say that breast milk plays an important role in the growth and development of babies who are born prematurely and have several issues.

Generally, babies who are born prematurely tend to have smaller chambers in their hearts and thicker walls that reduce the efficiency of the heart even during their adulthood.

And breast milk could help in the development of the heart in such babies. Packaged milk doesn't contain certain enzymes and compounds that breast milk contains and therefore, it can't serve the purpose well.

Also, the first few months after birth are very crucial in the development of the heart. Therefore, it is good to stick to breast milk during that phase especially in the case of premature babies.
