Tips To Help Your Baby Walk
You must be eagerly waiting for your child to take its first steps, as every other parent does. After your child learns to stand, they try to take a few steps first by holding on to something and later by themselves, when they get their balance right. This may be difficult for your child as they just learned to use their feet.
Children, generally, by the age of 12-14 months would start walking by themselves. Some may be way before that when a parent help baby walk. Some children find it very difficult to walk as they are not too sure on how to balance with their feet for the very first time.

Some kids are very careful and scared if they will fall down while others are willing to take that risk. A little push from you can make your baby walk; all you need is to give them the confidence.
CALCULATE YOUR BABY'S HEIGHT HERE!
When your child tries to walk they not only require balance, but also trunk control, hip stability, leg strength and the ability to plan a sequence of actions. Basically, all these together can help baby walk. Though this needs to be achieved naturally, there are a few tips that the parents can use to help baby walk. Below are given a few of them to make your baby walk.
Let them do it themselves
Your child always gets all his needs met by you. You need to take a break and when they need something, there can be a chance that he might just get up and take a few steps to his favorite toy. This is one of the ways to make your baby walk faster.
Move things away from them
Give your toddler a chance to walk, this will in turn help baby walk. When he is on his feet, move his favorite toy a little further away, this will encourage him to take a few steps to go and take them or maybe just get back to crawling and you might need to give him more time.
Help baby Walk
When they are on their feet, hold their hands facing them and encourage them to move closer to you while you move backwards. This is another method that will boost their confidence and will make your baby walk faster. These options might not work all the time, but no harm trying.
Put them in a Playgroup
When they see other kids on their feet and that they are quicker than them, they will get on to their feet faster to imitate them. This option is more suited when this is your first child. When they have siblings around, they learn from them and this will help baby walk.
Size and Birth Defect
Walking can be delayed due to the size of the baby, when their tiny little feet are not ready for their big body. In this case, parents need to give more time to their children to make your baby walk. When none of these work, parents should consult a doctor to make sure that there is no physical problems.
