Technology has made a great opportunity for all of us to lead a life with great ease. Technology has almost gone magical with all it's amazing creation. It has also brought about great improvement in the field of architecture. One of the technological wonder in this field is the introduction of modular buildings which can be dismantled. The two most famous modular buildings which dismantled are -

1.HSBC Building Hong Kong – The HSBC building of Hong Kong, is 180 meters high, has 47 storey and four basement levels. The building was fabricated in UK by Scott Lithgow Shipbuilders and was shipped to Hong Kong. Reportedly, the modular building of HSBC, can be dismantled and shifted from it's base whenever needed.

Another amazing feature of this modular building is the use of natural sunlight as the source of lighting inside the building. The huge mirrors attached to the building reflect the sunlight and thus lit up the whole area. It also has sun shades which does not allow sunlight to enter the building directly, thus, keeping it from heating up.

The technology is so designed that the modular building maintains the energy of the sunlight even after the sun sets. Adding on to the wonder, is the usage of sea water instead of fresh water, as coolant for the air condition system. The flooring of the building has movable panels. This allows easy installation of computer terminals etc.

2.Italian Pavillion – The Italian Pavillion, is a building which was included in the Shanghai World Expo 2010. The main feature of the building is that it can be dismantled and reconstructed elsewhere.

The architectures of the project are Marcello Silvestre, Francesco Iodice, Giuseppe Iodice, Teresa Crescenzi, Antonello De Bonis, and Cosimo Dominelli. The Italian Pavillion, is spread over 3,600 square meters and is 18 meters high.

The Italian Pavillion, is an interesting construction with buildings shaped like different geometrical structures. The different sections of the building are connected with the help of a steel bridge structure. The architects explain that the pattern of the building symbolize the complex design of the cities in Italy. The structure is also similar to the urban centers of China.

These modular buildings are yet another technological wonder and are much more well technologically equipped than any other regular building.
