Chopard Eyewear Collection-Precious In Every Detail!

By Staff

All of the refinement and beauty that makes Chopard jewellery so precious can be seen in the Chopard prescription eyewear collection. This presentation of elegantly light and luxurious female models is executed in exquisite detail and using the finest materials, echoing the heritage of the goldsmiths of the Swiss fashion house. The collection features several treatment concepts. New this season is the introduction of the "Interlaced Hearts" motif inspired by Chopard's leading jewellery creations and featured in some of the most popular necklaces and rings. The process used to interweave the hearts enriches the temples and adds movement to the design, rendered even more precious by a jewel inserted into the largest heart. The overall effect is to create eyewear that is just as much an item of jewellery.

The "3 Happy Spirit" motif, echoes the refined dials of Chopard's Happy Spirit timepieces, and draws its inspiration from the sumptuous temples of the 2009 Limited Edition sunglasses. This model features a shower of rhinestones set on three circular trims, reflecting light with delicate elegance through a cluster of glittering crystals. The collection comes in various colours, made yet more elegant by a beautiful mother-of-pearl effect. The "Fretted Logomania" motif features an intricate fretwork metal design in the temples, enriched with small "Happy Spirit" concentric circle details, executed with painstaking skill to create an original design of elegant and intricate detail. The overall effect is striking in its lightness.

The lacquered button surrounded by rhinestones and featuring the "C" logo adds an interesting touch of colour and individuality. Closely following the success of the sunglasses collection, the prescription collection includes temples on which the logomania is lasered using an innovative technology that produces luminous geometric designs along the entire temple length. "La Strada" (Italian for "The Road") is a recurring Chopard theme which began with its jewellery collections. The name derives from lines of oval rhinestones, placed along the temples, reminiscent of the lanes of a road. The temples also draw their inspiration from the Chopard watch straps of this fascinating.

Inspired by other collections from this renowned fashion house, three "Happy Spirit" trims are placed on the temples, first introduced with Chopard's latest Limited Edition sunglasses, to produce a play of concentric metal circles enriched by a sumptuous shower of rhinestones. The acetate front piece and rounded temple are available in lemon, burgundy, green and two different treatments in black. The temple tips are enhanced by an attractive metal plaque.

This model is characterized by two striking colour effects. The first is created by matching the golden metal of the front piece with the end pieces, the colour of which is suited with that of the injected temples, resulting in an attractive two-tone effect. The second is given by the temples themselves, on which the lasered logomania design is achieved by removing the black external surface and revealing the gold and silver core, creating an eye-catching geometric design along the temples. This model comes in a range of bright colours, including red, purple, white, bronze and two treatments in blacks, and is enriched by a metal plaque featuring the fashion house's silk-screened logo.
