Solar Eclipse 2024 Live Streaming In India: How And Where To Watch The Surya Grahan Live
The total solar eclipse of 2024 is a rare astronomical event where the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking out the Sun's light and casting a shadow on the Earth. The path of totality, where the Sun will be completely obscured by the Moon.
People within this path in certain areas will experience a total solar eclipse, with the sky going dark for a few minutes as the Moon covers the Sun.
Outside the path of totality, observers will still be able to see a partial solar eclipse, where only part of the Sun is covered by the Moon. This can create a dramatic effect as a crescent of light appears in the sky. Let us know where you can live stream Surya Grahan.
Solar Eclipse 2024: Date, Time, And How Long It Will Last
The first solar eclipse of 2024 will be seen on 8 April 2024. According to NASA, the Pacific coast of Mexico will experience totality first, around 11:07 am PDT, and the occurrence will leave Maine at around 1:30 pm PDT.
According to the Indian Standard Time (IST), the total solar eclipse will begin at 9:12 pm on 8 April 2024 and will end on April 9, 2024, at 2:22 am.
The eclipse is expected to plunge parts of the globe into darkness for approximately 7.5 minutes, creating a night-like scene during the day in the areas where it will be visible.
Solar Eclipse 2024 Where Will It Be Visible?
The total solar eclipse 2024 will be visible only in parts of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. But, the moon will cover some parts of the Sun in a partial eclipse in parts of certain Caribbean countries, Colombia, Venezuela, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal, and Iceland. However, the solar eclipse will not be visible in India.
How And Where To Watch The Surya Grahan Live
NASA will live-stream the eclipse on YouTube and will provide multiple broadcasts of the total eclipse. From 1 pm. to 4 pm Eastern time on 08 April, it will provide live-streamed commentary and views of the phenomenon from across the path of totality.
