As September rolls in, it brings with it a subtle shift in the air-a transitional blend of the monsoon's retreat and the herald of autumn's arrival. For many across India, this month is not just a time for a change in weather but also a time to reflect, celebrate, and take a well-deserved pause from the routine of everyday life.

The calendar for this month is sprinkled with bank holidays, each offering a unique opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle and embrace moments of relaxation, reflection, and celebration.

According to The RBI, the holidays are classified into three categories- Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks' Closing of Accounts. So, if you have some urgent banking needs make sure you check the designated holiday dates before visiting the banks as the physical branches will be shut.
