She was returning home after celebrating her 21st birthday, when her cousin brother and she were attacked with acid. She revealed she could feel the dress and her skin melt down while she screamed in pain.
She Refused To See Her Face…
While Resham was admitted in the hospital, she feared looking at herself in the mirror, as she thought it would depress her to a great extent. She was lucky enough however, as she did not have to undergo a surgery and had to undergo skin grafts instead.

After gathering courage, she did want to share her ordeal with the world and hence kept herself busy by sharing and interacting about her recovery period on social media sites.
