Are you married and craving for the wild outing and late night shindigs with your friends? Well, then you will find a plethora of reasons to be jealous of single friends. Although marriage brings commitment and other bountiful pleasures in your life, still it is a fact that a certain amount of freedom does get restricted after being committed.

There are plenty of reasons as to why I am jealous of my single friends. Some of the most common reasons to be jealous of your single friends are nonstop shopping sprees, crazy bashes, fanatical night outs, booze parties, and lots of other enjoyable things. Once you are committed you have a lot of responsibilities and you cannot enjoy all these things as you used to do earlier. Everybody wants to be settled in their lives yet sometimes we feel wistful when we see our cheerful single friends enjoying a happy-go-lucky life.

It is not that being committed will start making you feel regretful but nevertheless on seeing your single friends you will start missing your old days. Here are a number of reasons to be jealous of your single friends:

Liberty
When you are single you can be spontaneous in your actions. Wherever you want to go, you can, without even planning. On the other hand if you are committed you need to ask your partner or contemplate your family.

Selfish

After being committed in a relationship you cannot be selfish and this is one of the reasons to be jealous of my single friends . They can think of themselves, they do not have anyone else in their priority list and hence they can easily be selfish, but you can’t.

Staying Over At A Friend’s Place
While you were not married, you could have easily thought of an overnight stay at your friend’s place. During those days you never used to plan these things and surprised your friends without notifying them. But after getting married it’s a big NO-NO!

Catching Up With New People

After being committed you do not get to meet new people very often. When you were single people found you hot and happening and there was always a bunch of people wanting to meet you.

The Pursuit
Being single always doubles the probability of being more desired and admired by random women or men. After being committed the chase almost stops, you start missing your old days and this is also one of the reasons to be jealous of friends.

The Solitary Voyages
Once you are in a committed relationship you can no more enjoy traveling alone. You need to take the permission of your spouse and in majority of cases you will be refused by your partner. Singles do not have to face this issue.

Flirting
While you were unmarried flirting was so easy and it was quite fun. This is a big reason for me that I am jealous of my single friends. After marriage you miss that casual flirting with your friends especially when you are with your spouse. Hence, on seeing your single friends doing it, you feel very envious of them.

A Sound Sleep
After being committed you have to sleep with your spouse on the same bed. Moreover, if your partner snores it can disturb your sleep. This can also be one of the reasons to be jealous of friends when you see them sleeping alone and having a sound sleep.

The “Me” Time
You miss your bachelor days more when you do not get your personal time, to be precise the time for yourself. When you see your single friends pamper themselves every now and then, you go green with envy.
