To Manipulate You: Some women lie to manipulate you and influence you. She does it smartly so that you do what she wants, and you are completely into her.

To Hide Something: When you do something which is unacceptable, then you tend to hide it by lying. Women who have had a bad past will lie to hide their past.

For Your Good: There are few things that will not be good for you to know so, a woman might lie for the betterment of everyone. For example, if a co-worker is troubling her and she is pissed with it, she will not tell her family members as it might worry them.

Save Herself: Sometimes a woman lies intentionally till she gets the trust in you. For example, most of the women lie about their committed relationship status just to keep themselves safe from trouble. A woman fears that sharing her life can invite unwanted trouble.

To Appear Perfect: Most of the women lie to gain attention and appear perfect in front of others. For example, a woman might lie about her career just to show off in front of others. Even women who are fake lies a lot to be the centre of attention.
