Doesn't Want You To Share His Part of Attention: Men seek a refuge from the dull monotony of work in the soft and comforting words of his partner. But, by the time he is back its time to watch your daily soaps. Men hate it when you bother much about the serial characters and not about him! They want you to spend the same time with them rather than concentrating on the activities of some drama queens in daily soaps.

Fear of a Negative Impact: They fear that the foul actions of some characters portrayed in the daily soaps might influence you in a negative way. Men do not want any such influential disturbances to creep up in their happy lives.

Far From Reality: Men are very close to the real world and simply dislike any non factual element or activity. All the daily soaps bear fictional characters that might hold your breath or test your patience. In the real world, people are seldom that way. He doesn't want you to be influenced by their unrealistic attitude to life.

Comparison: There are a very few daily soap operas which depict the mediocre living style. All you find is big business houses, a lot many cars, lavish jewelery, high lifestyle etc. But the question is, how many people in real life can afford that? The same question haunts men. They fear that you might start craving an excessively luxurious living and that might leave the family dissatisfied with life.

Cannot Watch News or Cricket: Your daily soap opera mania renders his efforts and passion to watch cricket or news futile. And that is one more reason for him to hate such unreal melodramatic shows.

Wastage of Time: The time that you spend on watching daily soap operas can be utilized for doing something useful. He hates it when you spare time for such useless endeavors like soaps.

Even the television stars whom you see on television think and act practical when not before camera. So why waste your time? You may rather watch something informative or spend some time with your partner and family members.
