Social networking site addicts are believed to update their profiles while they are at dinner, in the middle of making out or even after they have gone to bed for the night.
A survey conducted across 1,000 Internet users, revealed that 48 per cent rapid Internet users admit checking their Twitter and Facebook profiles after they"ve gone to bed for the night.
42 per cent said they check or update their social media profiles first thing in the morning. 8 per cent of those are older than 25 years have admitted checking their profiles even before getting out of bed.
40 per cent of social networkers don"t mind being interrupted while they"re busy with other activities. 7 per cent have also confessed updating while in an intimate mood with their partner. 32 per cent said that it is a welcoming distraction during a meal.
However, those above 25 years of age didn"t like any such interruption under any circumstances.
