Mother-In-Law Jokes Goes In To Oblivion In UK

Modern comedians are generally averse to the tried and tested jig, targeted at the wives' mother. They prefer more relevant material in a bid to keep the audiences rolling in the aisles. They claim audiences are bored with mother-in-law jokes and believe they have become outdated. They do not want to be in the same track as their forebears. They like to have something new and fresh, which has swept the figure headed mother-in-law jokes away from the topics.
The demise of mother-in-law jokes were so the characteristics of a particular time of comedy form 70's to 80's with with Les Dawson and Bob Monkhose, but now the alternative comedians react against it, says the editor of a men's wedding website. The website, which is dedicated to helping grooms, have commissioned a new pack of rib-tickling jokes to keep the readers entertained.
"It's a topic that's ever actually gone away. It's just fallen from the headlines, there's no figurehead like Les Dawson making jokes on TV on a daily basis, but people certainly still laugh about it because if we don''t laugh you cry," says this expert, the editor of the website. They conducted an online poll, where 47 percent of men admitted to loathing their mother-in-law while 53 percent said they loved her.
