The Da Vinci Code has been unveiled in the magnified picture of ,painting, the 500 years old Renaissance masterpiece by Leonardo Da Vinci. The code was unveiled by Italy's National Committee for Cultural Heritage.

The committee has identified some letters and numbers in ,painting's eyes. The numbers can be a code for something or a hidden message. "To the naked the symbols are not visible but with a magnifying glass they can clearly be seen," said Silvano Vinceti, president of the Committee.
He reports that in the right eye of ,painting, the letters LV can be clearly seen and symbols in the left eye are not clear. "It is very difficult to make them out clearly but they appear to be the letters CE or it could be the letter B - you have to remember the picture is almost 500 years old so it is not as sharp and clear as when first painted. "While in the arch of the bridge in the background the number 72 can be seen, or it could be an L and the number 2," says Silvano Vinceti.

Mr. Vinceti further revealed that from his reports he has come to know that Da Vinci out of all his paintings has always emphasized on this particular picture and used to carry it wherever he went. He used to carry it in a case. It was a well known fact that Da Vinci was very esoteric and always used symbols in his panting to send across messages.

This revelation has made the doubt even more clear that the painting and the symbols may be a hidden message. The symbols have been put in the pupil of the ,painting eyes. This makes it clear that it was a important message and thus, it was inscribed on the pupil. Otherwise it could have been drawn on the white of the eyes. Eyes of this painting has always been a mystery and now with the unveiling of the symbols there has be some meaning to it. The big question is, what can it be? The letters LV can be the initials of a name and the numbers can be a name in itself. The ,painting Da Vinci code it being tried to be cracked.

The committee has asked permission to be able to take a look at the Da Vinci's skull. They want to recreate his face. They believe that the painting could be of himself. This is where the speculation of the painting being of an homosexual come in the picture. They believe that Da Vinci drew a picture of himself and deliberately dressed it like a lady to disguise. They are trying their best to decode the message and they believe that there is a lots more in the painting waiting to be found.
