Hugs Mean A Lot!

A hug is a form of physical intimacy not necessarily sexual that usually involves closing or holding the arms around another person or group of people. The hug is one of the most common human signs of love and affection along with kissing.

Sometimes, hugs are romantic exchange. Hugs may also be exchanged as a sign of support, motivation, encouragement, blessing, love and comfort. A hug can be a demonstration of affection and emotional warmth, sometimes arising out of joy or happiness in meeting someone.

Hug has become the far social greeting when teenagers meet or part these days in the current scenario.

What Dr"s say on this?

Many Psychiatrists" advice the hugging therapy to the parents as the children who are often touched, stroked and cuddled by their parents also will grow into a healthy child. They will feel comfortable and have confidence. The growth and health is better than the children who are rarely touched, stroked and cuddled.
It has proved that, when people hug each other, the body releases Oxytocin, a hormone which is associated with feeling of peace and love. This hormone can make heart and mind healthy.

How many of us hug our life partners, children, friends on our daily routine?
Do we ignore it as it"s not part of our social culture?
If so, then in what way do we express our love, appreciation and affection to our dear ones?

We may not consider it has a very important part in our life but definitely it would work wonders if one considers hugging as a social gesture to keep up our strong ties with our close ones.

Who needs hug

From human beings to animals, the need to be hugged always existed as people are missing out love these days. Without it, they may die. So the warmth feel, one gets from being hugged can cure many ailments like depression, agony, and cold ego.

As hug is a natural instinct in a human body which expresses emotions, concerns, love and care. It could be exchanged with parents, friends, lovers and also well wishers. Hugging might look too small a gesture for the person who has given one but it could change the life of the person who was being hugged.
