An Artist Wishes To Sketch 8.3 Million New Yorkers

He"s has captured the portrait of about 10,000 drawings so far, and at the rate he is going, it could take 1,660 more years to complete.
When asked what are his hopes about the completion of the project, he says, “I"d love to finish, but I don"t think it"s possible. I just want it to be something that"s fun and I want it to be something that lasts a long time."
Jason scours the streets nearly every day with his black pen and notepad and tries to sketch every moment of the hustle and bustle of New York.
“I don"t interact with people when I"m drawing them. I found that when they know that I"m drawing them, it changes things a little bit," he explained.
Polan has sketched people from all walks of life, from a woman named Harriet to comedian Jerry Seinfeld eating a burger in midtown.
Many people pass by Jason unaware, that they are being captured but even if they did, it would be a pleasure to be captivated in the works of such an innovation artist.
