Pramod Muthalik, Chief of Sri Rama Sena might have assumed that if he launches an anti-Valentine declaration in the country, that will be strictly followed by the Indian women. However the roaring protests against him shows that he has to rethink about his decisions.

As many women groups raise their fists against Muthalik's declarations, celebrities like Hema Malini and Usha Uthup have decided to join them.

"I think it is simply horrible. I was shocked to see what was happening on television. I don't know how these things are just growing. Our Minister should do something. Of course, Renuka Chowdhary is doing something. I think all of us should join together and do something about it," said Hema Malini.

Pop singer Usha Uthup condemned Muthalik's statements that it is the birth right of any human being to celebrate love in whichever manner that they wish!

"What is the problem? Why do we need people to moral police us? Of course Valentine's Day was never a part of our culture. But if people want to enjoy it, it is their right to do so. Basically, it is a fundamental right," said Uthup.

Pramod Muthalik hasn't replied for these comments so far.
