50 Lakh For One Ticket! Pan Am Is Launching A Luxurious Transatlantic Private Jet Trip Next Year
Pan Am, once a symbol of luxurious travel, operations in 1991. Yet, the name still evokes memories of era before "overtourism" or "selfie sticks" were. Now, there's an opportunity to relive that golden age of aviation, it comes at a steep price.
This airline is set to revive its golden era with an extravagant private jet journey in 2025. The airline, which ceased operations in 1991, will collaborate with Criterion Travel and Bartelings Associates for this exclusive 12-day trip. The journey will retrace Pan Am's original transatlantic routes from New York to Bermuda, Lisbon, Marseille, London, and Foynes in Ireland.

Luxury Travel Experience
The trip will be hosted by Craig Carter, CEO of Pan American World Airways. It will run from June 27 to July 9, 2025. In an Instagram post, Carter mentioned that this journey marks "the first of many exclusive themed flights back into the luxury travel space." He added that relaunching Pan Am involves balancing its rich history with future innovations to appeal to both old fans and new customers.
Only 50 travelers will be able to join this opulent adventure on a privately-chartered Boeing 757-200 aircraft. The plane will feature all lie-flat seats for maximum comfort. According to Criterion Travel, passengers can expect continental cuisine and an open bar on all flight legs. On the ground, they will stay at luxury hotels like The Savoy in London, the Four Seasons Ritz in Lisbon, and the Rosewood Bermuda.
So, what's the price tag? A hefty $US59,950 ($88,000)) per person!
Exclusive Experiences
The journey also includes unique experiences such as boarding a Pan Am Clipper replica in Ireland. Reservations for this legendary trip start at $59,950 per person. This price covers flights, accommodations, most meals and drinks, and branded merchandise.
While Pan Am aims to bring back a romanticized era of air travel, it is not alone in offering such luxurious private jet journeys. Companies like Four Seasons offer around-the-world trips starting at $159,000 per person with stops in Africa and Asia. Tour operators like TCS World Travel and Abercrombie & Kent also provide similar high-end travel experiences.
For decades, Pan Am was synonymous with glamorous transatlantic flights featuring chic flight attendants and elaborate onboard meals. Now, the airline seeks to recapture that magic with this over-the-top private jet trip.
This luxurious journey promises to be an unforgettable experience for those who can afford it. With its blend of historical charm and modern luxury, Pan Am's revival flight offers a unique way to explore some of the world's most iconic destinations.
Pan American World Airways began operations in 1927 and grew to the largest international air carrier for much of the 20th century. At peak in 1968, Pan Am flew to 86 countries across continents. However, operations ceased on December 4, 1991.
