The Girl From Kota Who Dreamt Big

Born in the heart of Kota's Sabzi Mandi, 21-year-old Nandini has travelled a long way-figuratively and literally from her childhood in Bhandahera, a village near Kaithun, Rajasthan. Her father, Sumit Gupta, runs a small business; her mother, Rekha Gupta, has always been her steady support at home. Nandini's journey began in familiar corners of Kota, studying at St. Paul Senior Secondary School, before moving to Mumbai to pursue Business Management at Lala Lajpat Rai College.

Crowned Femina Miss India at just 19, she followed up with a win at the Femina Miss Rajasthan pageant earlier that year. Her path has been anything but accidental, it's been a focused, step-by-step climb led by discipline, self-belief, and a clear goal.

At Miss World 2025, Nandini quickly made her presence felt by winning the Top Model Challenge, standing out with an effortless mix of grace and grit. But it's her outlook that continues to resonate.

When asked during the 2023 Femina Miss India pageant whether she would rather change the world or change herself, her answer came without hesitation: "I think I will change myself, because, just as appreciation comes from home and charity starts from home, change also comes from within."
