The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton had a Marilyn Monroe moment when she was welcoming the President of the Republic of Singapore. The Duchess of Cambridge, who was wearing a tartan topper by Alexander McQueen, faced a wardrobe malfunction which was kind of expected.
Considering it is the Duchess of Cambridge, there always has to be some sort of wardrobe malfunction. This is not the first time that we have been exposed to Kate Middleton's undergarments.
When she was visiting Canada in 2011, the Duchess of Cambridge had another Marilyn Monroe moment in a yellow Jenny Packham dress. Again when the Cambridge family toured New Zealand in May, Kate Middleton's Catherine Walker coat flew up so high that it almost revealed her royal assets!
However, this time when Kate welcomed the President of the Republic of Singapore, she kind of expected a wardrobe malfunction. As a result, she wore a black sheath underneath her Alexander McQueen dress to make sure nothing was exposed.
On the other hand, Kate's tartan dress by Alexander McQueen was elegant to look at. Her knee length, teal blue shade dress was pleasing to the eyes and looked perfect on the second time pregnant Kate Middleton. She wore this pastel dress with a Jane Taylor hat, Jenny Packham clutch, Annoushka pearl earrings and ebony Prada pumps.
However, the glitch of this g-rated Marilyn Monroe moment was perfect, do you know why? The slim-fit overcoat on Kate Middleton revealed one more thing -- the teeny baby bump, which is just beginning to bloom.
