LFW 2014 : AKAROO'S Stunning Desings

Day 2 of Lakme Fashion week could not have gotten more exciting with AKAARO displaying some distinct designs. The collection boasted a lovely traditional touch, with innovative designs being incorporated to enhance the creativity quotient. The details were particularly classy with most designs based on sheer organza fabrics. While we take a look at what made AKAARO at Lakme Fashion Week 2014, let us be reminded that the tireless efforts that went at making the collection a success were starkly evident. However, going by the standards of Lakme Fashion Week, Gaurav J Gupta's AKAARO collection was a little too ordinary.

The show started with a lot of expectations. Some of the designs were symbolic of a distinct winter collection. The sarees that were on display at Gaurav J Gupta's AKAARO collection had different styles. The blouses were also creative as far as the design element is concerned.

Apart from the many Sarees that were on display, there were scores of other designs as well. Most o these designs were highly creative to say the least. A rather distinct feature was that all of Gaurav Gupta's models wore a similar design of platform heels. The combination of colour and texture on the designs were, however, impressive.

It remains to be seen what the other shows in Lakme Fashion Week 2014 have in the offering. AS for now, we'll have to wait and watch. Stay tuned..!

Dhothi Pants

This design of Dhothi Pants and a black coloured Silk Kurta was impressively creative.

Sleeveless Waist Coat

This design is that of a lovely waist coat vest on top of a silk silhouette.

Traditional Saree

This model display's one of Gaurav Gupta's innovative traditional sarees with a golden coloured half sleeve blouse.

AKAARO'S Models

AKAARO'S models line up at the start of the show. The colourful designs were admirable indeed.

A Colurful Kurti

This model displays a colourful closed neck Kurti with cropped pants.

A Colourful Saree

The details in this particular design were stunning. On display here is a colourful saree with a half sleeved green coloured blouse.

Sleeveless Blouse

AKAARO'S saree colection was definitely praiseworthy. Here again, a neat grey coloured saree with a red sleeveless blouse was symbolic of laudable creativity.
