Kate Middleton chose to wear a risky short pleated skirt which almost gave her a Marilyn Monroe moment! Kate Middleton has been having a busy schedule day after day. From socialising to attending events, the Duchess Of Cambridge is always busy in playing her role and duties as a royal!
Recently, Kate Middleton was at London's Canary Wharf where she almost suffered with a wardrobe malfunction. Kate Middleton was attending a forum hosted by the charity Place2Be of which she is a patron. Kate exited a blue Jaguar and was greeted by a schoolgirl. The weather was very bad and the wind played up its game! Like other celebrities, Kate too became a victim of the blowing wind.
Kate Middleton who wore a small plated Orla Kiely skirt bent down to meet the schoolgirl and accept the flowers from her. It was outside Clifford Chance LLP when the small pleated skirt started blowing up and flaunted her legs a little. However, the royal Duchess of Cambridge did not react much to it and controlled the wardrobe malfunction from becoming disastrous. She held her skirt with her hand and prevented it from blowing upward.
The 31-year-old mom, Kate Middleton looked gorgeous in the Orla Kiely skirt which was teamed up with a Max Mara jacket. She completed the look with velvet indigo blue gloves, blue clutch, black stockings and blue pumps.
Well, it is not the first time that Kate Middleton has had a Marilyn Monroe moment. In May this year, pregnant Kate was attending her friend William Van Cutsem wedding. She wore a white and black polka dot Topshop maternity dress which too made her face the embarrassing moment. We cannot forget the unexpected wardrobe malfunction that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton faced in 2011. At the Calgary Airport during the nine-day tour of Canada in 2011, Kate was saying goodbye to the well-wishers when her sunshine yellow Jenny Packham dress blew up in the wind.
Even in 2012, Kate Middleton saved her floral print white dress from blowing up at the Brisbane airport. Kate Middleton has always been protecting herself from facing the Marilyn Monroe moment time and again. However, we suggest that Kate stops wearing such clothes which leads to an embarrassing moment!
