Vidya Balan Goes Red On Her Wedding
Vidya Balan is the new Bollywood bride. After the much talked about royal wedding of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, the wedding bells are ringing for Vidya Balan. The simple and private wedding of this actress has become the buzz right now. Today, Vidya Balan tied the knot with her beau Siddharth Roy Kapur (CEO of UTV Motion Pictures).
We have always seen the gorgeous Indian beauty in kanjeevaram sarees and on her special day, it is no exception. Even on her wedding day, Vidya Balan wore Kanjeevaram silk sarees from Tamil Nadu. Some of her wedding trousseau consisted of designer sarees by co-friend and favourite fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
The bridal wear of Vidya Balan has been weaved with Madras silk and hand crafted by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The South Indian actress again looked gorgeous in silk sarees. The style statement of 34-year-old actress is very simple and resembles Rekha's style quotient.
The wedding ceremonies started from December 11th (pre-wedding bash) followed by mehendi (December 12th). We have seen Vidya in many bright as well as light coloured silk sarees. Sabyasachi Mukherjee knows well how to dress the South Indian beauty. Lets take a look at what Vidya wore at her wedding. It is said that the actress wore 3 different costumes for her wedding. Though, we saw only one of her wedding bridal wear in the pictures below.
Vidya's Wedding Outfit:

The red bride
Vidya looks ravishing in a nine yard red coloured Kanjeevaram silk saree. The red saree has golden thread work in the saree and on borders.

The big sindoor
Vidya waves to the media after tying the knot in a temple. The big sindoor in the hair and dark mehendi on the palms make her look like a traditional Indian bride. Vidya is wearing Punjabi Chuda. The South Indian and Punjabi style wedding was held today in Bandra.

Gold-studded beauty
The South Indian beauty looked shinny and heavy with gold jewellery. Three heavy necklaces and dangling gold earrings make her look all the more beautiful.

Yellow and red couple
While Vidya wore a red kanjeevaram silk saree for her wedding, her hubby Siddharth is wearing a yellow coloured kurta with chicken thread work.

The bright Bengali beauty
On her mehendi, Vidya Balan wore a bright yellow pattu silk saree with balloon sleeves red blouse designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The red and blue borders of the saree was just perfect for the mehendi ceremony.

The traditional beauty
At her pre-wedding bash, Vidya Balan looked elegant in a traditional block print silk saree and gold jewellery. Three-quarter sleeves blouse and red bangles looked classic.
