1.Kalavaarahalli Betta: 70 kms from Bangalore city, this place is not more than 2 hours if you take the new international airport road. The place is filled with clouds over your head and it is like the window side view of clouds when you are traveling in a plane, its just that you can feel it here. Kalavaarahalli Betta, is quite popular and a lot of people visit the place in the night time to trek in the moon light, reach the top and put up a tent to hangout till the next morning. Kalavaarahalli Betta is very cold place so the best time to visit there would be at noon time.

2.Nrityagram: the Dance Village and Taj Kuteeram: A cottage and boutique hotel, the place is across the street from the Taj Kuteeram hotel located at the dead end of the country road. Nrityagram is clean, sprawling and famous for hikes through farms, open grass land and country roads. A 75 minutes drive from the city is a nice way for a getaway weekend and you can explore some beautiful country roads while you roam. A delicious lunch or buffet at the Taj Kuteeram open air restaurant is a calm and romantic way of enjoying the weekend. The 'dance village', at the Nrityagram, is a cultural show which is performed by professionals on classical Indian dance. Through their performance, dancers shows the art form and live in community.

3.Nandi Hills: 60 kms north from Bangalore is the hot favorite summer getaway weekend resort for the newly wed couples. Also known as Nandidurga, it was one of the resorts visited by Tipu Sultan. Bungalows and gardens made during the British Era is one of the major attractions of Nandi Hills. The 1478 km high hill is the originating point of many rivers. Nandi Hills, in Bangalore City, is surrounded by forests and smaller hills which can be climbed too.
