The motto of the snow festival is to let the world know that Gulmarg has a good snowfall. It will be a thrilling experience for the tourists from the plains to see the snowfall and to participate in the snow sports. The ample snowfall and the good infrastructure make their experience a memorable one.
Gulmarg is a bowl shaped plateau at an altitude of 8,500 ft in Pir Panjal of the Himalayan range. It is a favourite destination of the tourists to participate in winter sports. The localites hope that Gulmarg will be a global winter tourism destination soon.
