Olive Casts its spell on South Mumbai

The Olive Bar & Kitchen, at the Amateur Riders Club opened its doors to South Mumbai with a knockout two day celebration over Sunday and Monday.
After eight wonderful years at Pali Hill, this famous Bandra haunt, now brings its pebbled courtyard and white washed walls to Mahalaxmi.
Tucked away near the stables of the Amateur Riders Club(ARC), Olive whisked you away from the hustle bustle of this big city, transporting one into a charming world of horses, fine wines and the above all, the most delectable Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of Italia.
A romantic somewhat beach-like setting of the outdoor area of Olive welcomed guests as the place began to fill up. The first and most early guests included Mr. Cyrus Poonawalla and Raj Shroff, President of the ARC who came to support and congratulate AD on the opening.
As the crowd began to enter by 10pm, the first few guests included Reshma Bombaywalla, Seema Khan, Sabira and Chotu Merchant, Kitu Gidwani, Ether and Raju Daswani, Simone Singh and Fahad Samar and the celebrity guest list, which was almost as lengthy as scroll went on into the night with Bombay's Best in full attendance.
The place was abuzz with chatter and song as the aromas of cheese, herbs and earthy, fresh food filled with the night air. Clay oven pizzas, Mediterranean Capers wrapped in Salmon, Salumeria and of course divine desserts and other dishes made their rounds as everyone simply indulged in the food.
