June 2024 has already started and although there are less number of celebrations and festivals in this month, banks in India will observe a total of 12 holidays. This includes state-wise holidays, the second and fourth Saturdays, and all Sundays.
The month has five Sundays, adding to the number of holidays. Therefore, if customers have banking needs, then they must not plan their visits to bank branches around these dates.

June 2024 Bank Holiday List
- June 1 (Saturday) - Banks will remain closed due to Lok Sabha Elections Phase 7 in states- Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Chandigarh.
- June 2 (Sunday) - Banks will remain closed.
- June 8 (Saturday) - Second Saturday
- June 9 (Sunday) - Banks will remain closed on Maharana Pratap Jayanti in states - Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
- June 10 (Monday) - Banks will remain closed on the Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev in Punjab.
- June 14 (Friday) - Banks will remain closed on Pahili Raja in Odisha.
- June 15 (Saturday) - Banks will remain closed on YMA Day in Mizoram and Raja Sankranti in Odisha.
- June 16 (Sunday) - Banks will remain closed.
- June 17 (Monday) - Banks will remain closed on Bakrid/Eid-ul-Azha. Banks will remain open only in Mizoram, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh on this day.
- June 21 (Friday) - Vat Savitri Vrat (Many States)
- June 22 (Saturday) - Second Saturday
- June 23 (Sunday) - Banks will remain closed.
- June 30 (Sunday) - Banks will remain closed.
Online Banking and ATM Services
Despite these holidays, online banking and ATMs will be operational. Customers can conduct transactions and other banking tasks through mobile or net banking during these closures. All online facilities will remain available.
