Oval Shaped- Face
Oval faces can wear almost any shape or style of necklace. It should compliment the neckline worn for. If you have a long neck, choker will be good choice and low-hanging necklaces with drops accent a low-cut neckline.
Oval Shaped face will go best with hoops, hoops in circles, chandeliers and other soft, curving designs using open link chain, teardrops and go-go's--or dramatically set off the oval face with triangle-shaped earrings.
Round Shaped Face
The round face are crafted in soft and curved form, with an equal distance all around. The nose is a central point for this face shape.
Long looping necklaces draw the eyes down and lengthen the look of the face. Ideal earrings for round shaped-face are vertical styles-especially dangles, drops, narrow chandeliers and ear threads.
Oblong or Rectangular Shaped Face
The oblong or rectangular face is longer than the width of the face at the forehead, cheekbones and chin are the same or almost the same. Choker, collar and princess lengths are ideal neck wires and necklaces for Rectangular- Shaped Face. Button earrings will go best on oblong faced people.
Square Shaped- face
The square face has a strong jaw line--the distance from the top of the face to the chin matches the width of the face. In addition, the width of the face at the forehead, cheekbones and chin are the same or almost the same. Princess, matinee, opera and rope length will make their look more elegant with a pair of oval hoops and long drop.
Heart-Shaped or Inverted Triangle face
The heart-shaped face has a wide brow and narrow chin. In addition, the width of the face at the forehead and cheekbones is greater than the width at the chin.
This face shaped womens should go for short necklaces with curves to reduce the appearance of length in the jawline and diminishes the sharp point of the chin. Triple-strand chokers or large beads at the base of the throat creates fullness at the neck and balances the wider area around the eyes and cheekbones. A bold pendant on a short necklace creates a visual stop directly under the chin, shortening the look of the face. Circular neck wires, omega chains and short bib-style necklaces are another option for the heart-shaped/inverted triangle face with Teardrop and Chandelier earrings.
