According to The RBI, the holidays are classified into three categories- Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.

Well, January 2024 is about to arrive and banks will remain closed for 16 days during this month. Therefore, if you have some urgent banking needs make sure you check the designated holiday dates before visiting the banks as the physical branches will be shut.
So, customers will be only able to avail digital services like mobile banking, UPI, and Internet banking.
