Bank Holidays In February 2024: Check The Full List Here Because Banks Will Remain Closed For These Many Days
The first thing we all do when we get our hands on a new calendar is to check out the bank holidays, planning our escapades and mini-vacations!
According to The RBI, the holidays are classified into three categories- Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.
Well, February 2024 is about to arrive and banks will remain closed for fewer days during this month. Even though the list of public holidays is relatively short, if you have some urgent banking needs make sure you check the designated holiday dates before visiting the banks as the physical branches will be shut.

10 - 12 February 2024 - Saturday To Monday
Losar- Banks in Sikkim will remain closed.
2. 14 February - Wednesday
Vasant Panchami - Banks in Haryana, Orissa, Punjab, Tripura and West Bengal will remain closed.
3. 15 February - Thursday
Lui-Ngai-Ni- Banks in Manipur will remain closed.
4. 19 February 2024- Monday
Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti - Banks in Maharashtra will remain closed.
5. 20 February 2024- Tuesday
Arunachal Pradesh Statehood Day and Mizoram Statehood Day - Banks in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram will remain closed.
6. 24 February 2024- Saturday
Guru Ravidas Jayanti - Banks in Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab will remain closed.
