Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration: These 5 States Have Declared Holiday On 22 January
Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration is slated to happen on 22 January and there is a wave of spiritual fervor and festive spirit sweeps across the nation.
In a nod to this grand celebration, certain states have declared a holiday, allowing citizens to immerse themselves fully in the spirituality and joy of the occasion. Let us know the state-wise holiday arrangements.

Uttar Pradesh
On January 22, Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for a grand celebration at Ayodhya and therefore, all educational institutions and government offices will stay shut. According to reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath encourages residents of UP to mark the day with Diwali-like fervor in their cities or villages.
Haryana
Due to the historical event at Ayodhya, and nationwide celebration, Haryana has declared the closure of all schools until 22 January. This state will also prohibit the consumption of liquor on the day of the Pran Pratistha ceremony day of Ram Lalla.
Chhattisgarh
This state government has also declared a public holiday on 22 January so that residents can celebrate this day. On this day, both government and private schools will remain closed as a part of safety measures. This will surely generate excitement and anticipation among the local populace.
Madhya Pradesh
As the festive wave is about to hit the nation on 22 January, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh designates this day as a public holiday for all government offices and schools. Also, adding to the solemnity, the state will shut down liquor and meat shops in the states, as per the Chief Minister's directives.
Goa
While Goa is always high in festive spirit, this time residents have one more reason to be happy. Like four other states, this one too will get the chance to embrace festive spirit with a public holiday on 22 January. Acknowledging the nationwide enthusiasm and fervour, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has decreed the closure of government offices and schools.
The preparations for Pran Pratishtha or the consecration ceremony are in full swing with the preparations and guest list already making headlines.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest of this event and dignitaries from 55 countries, including ambassadors and MPs, will also grace the occasion. In total 7000 invitees will be present to witness and cherish the grand spectacle.
