As India gears up for one of its most anticipated weddings, the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to commence on March 1, 2024.

The celebrations, taking place in Jamnagar, promise a grand affair with the Ambani family hosting a roster of celebrities, and business moguls including Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Bollywood royalty like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

This event marks a significant milestone in the couple's journey, which officially began with their roka in December 2022.

Anant and Radhika Relationship Timeline
Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant, have been in the spotlight since pictures of them together first emerged in 2018.

Their relationship has been a topic of interest, with the couple being seen at various Ambani family functions, including the high-profile weddings of Anant's siblings, Akash and Isha Ambani, between December 2018 and March 2019.

Also in June 2022, Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted an 'Arangetram' ceremony for their daughter-in-law-to-be, who is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. The event was held at Jio World Centre in Mumbai, the stage performance was attended by Bollywood stars like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, who are both also expected to attend the upcoming pre-wedding festivities this weekend.

Their formal journey to matrimony began with a traditional roka ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, on December 29, 2022, attended by close friends and family. The couple had also participated in the traditional Raj-Bhog-Shringraar ceremonies.

Following this, a grand engagement celebration was held on January 19, 2023, at the Ambani residence in Mumbai, drawing the attendance of celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt, among others. This event featured the traditional Gujarati 'Gol dhana' ceremony.

In the build-up to their wedding, the couple has been spotted visiting various temples across India, including Kerala's Guruvayur Temple and the Shirdi Sai Temple. They also attended the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in April 2023 and participated in the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
