While Ryan Reynolds is healing from his painful break up with his 26-year-old ex wife, Scarlett Johansson, on one hand was already to date the 50-year-old actor, Sean Penn.

The love story of Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn started a few months back after the couple was spotted on a series of events getting cosy in each others presence. The two even attended an event at the White House recently, which later brought about speculation as to why Scarlett Johansson wasn't with Sean Penn at the Cannes Film Festival recently!

Sources say, that Sean Penn had come in with a blonde and another brunette lady at the film festival, which kept the media wondering where his lady love was. Later reports claim to say that the two have split on mutual grounds, not detailing the reason, though!

There were rumors about Scarlett Johansson being pregnant too, when she was seen with Sean Penn, while they were jogging near their mansion! It was only later that the Avengers actress denied the baby news and stated that she was in good shape, better than yesterday!
