With The Royal wedding just a week ahead, Kate Middleton's parents and Queen Elizabeth met up for a 'private lunch' party. The private lunch party of the Middleton's and Queen Elizabeth along with Prince Philip was held without the presence of the royal couple.

This private lunch on the eve of royal wedding, was the first time that the Middleton's met Queen Elizabeth and prince Philip. A source revealed, “Catherine"s parents, Carole and Michael, had a private lunch with Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip at Windsor Castle today. Neither Kate nor William were present, however, certain members of the royal household were present."

The source also revealed that thought the Middleton's were a bit scared about the presence of the royal family, the party went off very well and the two families were in boheime. In the private lunch party of the Middleton's and the royal family, Queen Elizabeth revealed that she will host a champagne party at the Buckingham Palace after the ceremony at Westminister Abbey.
