Katie Price Announces Split With Alex Reid

After a lot of speculation and talks, Katie Price finally officially announced her split with husband Alex Reid. Alex Reid and Katie Price split after 11 months of their marriage. In one of the recent interviews, Katie Price confessed that she married Alex Reid "too quickly".

“We all make mistakes. Alex and I have had a number of difficulties over the past few months. I accept that these were in part caused by my marrying too quickly – we all make mistakes and this was one," she added.

Ask her the reason of the split and Katie Price blames Alex Reid's obsession with fame to be the main reason. She feels that Alex has changed as a person. “Alex changed from the man I fell in love with and some of his behavior became difficult for me to understand and caused issues," she said.

Alex Reid and Katie Price split according to their friends was expected as their issues cannot be resolved. They had parted ways long time back and their problems are too deep rooted.

When Katie Price expressed her desire to split to Alex Reid, he reportedly asked her to delay the public announcement, as he wanted time to think. Eventually even he came to the same conclusion and at present Katie Price is discussing financial matters with her divorce lawyer.

“I am deeply upset that my relationship with Alex has failed but I know it is the right thing for my children and I that we separate. My children are my absolute priority in this and they are being shielded from what is happening," she said.
