While the royal family and the Middleton's celebrateing the royal wedding preparation and lunch parties, one person whose absence is being felt is Princess Diana. Reportedly, Kate Middleton paid a visit to Princess Diana's grave. Kate Middleton along with Prince William visited Princess Diana's grave at her family estate of Althorp in Northamptonshire, Central England.

According to a source, “It was very important for William to take Kate to visit his mum just before their wedding day. Diana is still a huge part of her boys" everyday life and always will be. It is tragic that she won"t be there to see the wedding and that she never got to meet his bride. But even though Kate never met Diana she knows what an incredible woman she was and it is very important to her she can share and understand William"s love and grief for his mum."

Kate Middleton visited Princess Diana's grave to pay her a tribute as she is the one who has never been close to her and on her wedding day is missing her presence. Prince William was very close to his mother and thus, has gifted her diamond and sapphire engagement ring to Kate when he proposed her. With the presence of the ring, will make him feel the presence of his mother in the ceremony.
