Cheryl Cole, the recently declared judge of the US version of X Factor, has already started getting reviews from other in the industry, Jennifer Lopez being the first one. Reportedly, Jennifer Lopez has admitted that she does not know who Cheryl Cole is, but would like to know about her.

Jennifer Lopez's comment on Cheryl Cole, many say is the diva's way of facing the new competitor. Jennifer Lopez comment on Cheryl Cole, as reported by The Daily Mail reads, "Someone mentioned [Cheryl] to me yesterday. She is a singer, right? I don't know much about her and I don't know her music. But I would be happy to learn about it."

Reports also say that Simon Cowell too was a bit skeptical about taking Cheryl Cole as a judge in X Factor, as she does not have a star status in US but then on second thoughts, he says that the show has always made stars,so, this might also help the singer rise up to the start status.
