MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) have rocked the world. The event had all the beautiful and stunning celebrities walking down the red carpet. Celebrities ranging from Justin Bieber to Lady Gaga ravished the day.

Each celebrity added his or her contribution to the D-Day, with their stunning performances and awards. The list of VMA Award winners are :

• Lady Gaga, the singing sensation rocked VMA by having 13 nominations and bagging 8 awards for the best video of the year, the best pop video, the best female video, the best dance music video, the best choreography, the best editing and the best direction for her track 'Bad Romance'. She also bagged the Best Collaboration award for her duet track ' Telephone' with Beyonce Knowles.

• Justin Bieber, the young pop heart throb proved his excellence by winning the award for the best new artist in VMA.

• Eminem, the popular American rapper made it big by winning the best Hip – Hop Video and the best male video for his single 'Not afraid'.

• '30 Seconds To Mars' won the best rock video in VMA. They bagged this honour for their track 'Kings And Queens' from the album, 'This Is War'.

• 'Florence And The Machine' took the award for the best art direction, for the track 'Dog Days Are Over'.

• Jay -Z & Alicia Keys surprised the crowd by winning for their excellent cinematography in the video 'Emipre State Of Mind Ft Alicia Keys'. They bagged the best cinematography trophy in VMA.

• 'Muse', the famous English Rock band won the award for the best special effects, for the track, 'uprising'.

• 'Black Keys', bagged the award for breakthrough Video, for their track 'Tighten Up' from the album 'brothers'.

MTV VMA had a thrilling ending this year, 2010.
