Stephenie Meyer Wants A Break From Vampires

By Staff

Stephenie Meyer, the writer who brought the life of vampires through her twilight series says that she is no more thrilled by vampires, hence she wants to take a break.

Through 'Eclipse' she has only answered some questions of her readers. She said that now a days she feels like a girl who is doing her home work and when story telling or anything turns to home work it takes really long to finish.

“I also know that the right answer would be for me to say, 'Oh yeah, it"s done! And it"ll be out next month!" But that"s not true. What"s true is that I"m really burned out on vampires. And I don"t want to write it badly," she said.

She added that the only factor which keeps 'Twilight series' up and running is Edward Cullen, the only factor that motivates her these days is Edward. “You know, when a story is keeping me up at night, and I"m waking up at four in the morning and thinking 'Yes! That is what is what should happen in this moment," she said.

“You know, I have my share of human stubbornness and I have to tell you, it"s a little bit hard when people are like, 'This is the only thing you can do, and it"s the only thing we care about!' And, you"re kind of like a 3-year-old, you want to be like 'I"m gonna do what I wanna do!" Yeah. 'You"re not the boss of me!"" she added.

Stephenie sounds like she is really in need of a break. Like the series she too wants to be up and running.
