Music mogul Simon Cowell made an emotional exit from US talent show 'American Idol".American Idol, a show which would not be complete without Cowells name, now will have to bare with his absence.

The generally harsh judge, turned sweet and sad as he hugged the show"s former judge Paula Abdul and took his final bow on the show after nine years. In these nine years, Cowell has given valuable contribution to American Idol. His harsh comments though have made people cry, was always for their good.

The generally rough and tough guy, has tears in his eyes when he was surrounded by all the past winners. In those last few minutes he relived the past nine years of his rule.

Reportedly, Simon Cowell is quitting American Idol, to bring the X Factor to US next year. In 2011, Simon Cowell will appear again on TV screen with a brand new concept.
