X Factor judge, Cheryl Cole has also signed up for the project.
"We are going to do a single. I've got to get it together in 48 hours. I wanted to do something for Haiti and we had a request from the Prime Minister to put a record together," says Cowell enthusiastically.
He added, "We are going to do the recording in a very short span of time and Cheryl Cole has is on board."
Sir Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams may also join the cause.
