After their grand wedding in India, Russell Brand and Katy Perry, for their honeymoon, flew to Soneva Fushi resort in the Maldives. Before leaving Russell Brand had confessed that he is quite excited to break the 'sex ban'.

Reportedly, the couple were following the 'sex ban' for one month before they got married. Russell Brand and Katy Perry decided to honeymoon in Maldives, because it is one of the most romantic places. But on the day of their arrival, Katy Perry got bit by a spider, which made her fall seriously ill.

Katy Perry is left too exhausted with the medication to consummate the marriage. Russell Brand and Katy Perry's honeymoon, has been ruined by a spider. Their friends have revealed that Russell Brand was very excited about their honeymoon and was looking forward to spend the whole time with his newly wed wife.

This is the reason why they chose Maldives, where they won't be disturbed and can relax in each others company. Doctors have confirmed early recovery and it is hoped that soon the couple will enjoy their honeymoon in Maldives.
