Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey, the queen of Talk Shows, has donated $US 6 million dollars to six educational institutes. This donation was made to school who were facing trouble in raising enough funds to provide quality education.

This was one of the biggest contribution made by Winfrey's Angle Network. Oprah Winfrey had also devoted two episodes of her talk show to the cause of public schooling.

Oprah Winfrey described the winning organisation based in Philadelphia, California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana and Texas, as "ground-breaking leaders in the provision of quality public education."

Along with her fight for the cause, Oprah Winfrey has also lent her voice to Sesame Street, as an animated "O". The award winning TV show has confirmed that her voice will be featured in a chat parody, The O Show, on the 41st premier of Seasame Street to be held on 27th September.

The upcoming season will also witness the presence of Katy Perry, Usher, Will.i.am, Jude Law, Colin Farrell and NFL player Reggie Bush.
