Oprah Winfrey Gifts Apple iPads, $10k To Employees Of Her 'O magazine'

Oprah Winfrey, known for her generous gifting ways, has given away Apple iPads and 10,000 dollar cheques to employees of her 'O magazine' to mark its 10th anniversary.

Advertising Age says that Winfrey, 56, presented every employee, regardless of how long they have served the company.

“These were personal gifts to the staff from Oprah to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the magazine," the New York Post quoted a spokeswoman for the magazine"s publisher Hearst as saying.

It is to be noted that the talk show host had rewarded an entire studio audience with free cars from Pontiac in 2004.
