26/11 Mumbai Attack
The Trident-Oberoi Hotel, which was targeted for the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, is all set to re-open on April 24. However, the hotel will remain under tight security cover.

The hotel management arranged for a preview of the redone hotel for the media people on Wednesday, following its 40 million dollar renovation.

The 550 roomed Trident, which brings in nearly a quarter of the annual revenue of the Oberoi-owned East India Hotel Limited, is a favourite spot for foreign business executives and tourists.

The five star hotel has been completely transformed to offer the highest standards in terms of facilities. It will now have 287 guest rooms. The suites have been increased to 73 from 22, including two presidential suites.

The Oberoi, which was built in 1986, has hosted famous guests, including former US President Bill Clinton and the late pop star Michael Jackson.
