John Branca, who broke the deal along with co-executor John McClain, revealed Sony Music Entertainment bought new Jackson music. Some of songs in the album has never been released and was recorded with other artists in the last three years.
Branca reported, "Michael had a tendency to over-record. He would record 20, 30, 40 songs for one album. These are the vintage songs."
This album will consist of a whole set of Jackson"s both old and new material may end up in some of the future albums.
Speaking about the Sony deal, Branca says, "The remarkable thing is to make the biggest deal in history in a market with declining record sales. It's a pretty big thing."
