Katy Perry and Russell Brand are planning a small wedding to focus solely on their love for one another, rather than having a 'drunk fest."

They will fly their selected guests to a secret location for seven days of celebrations.

It has emerged that Rihanna has suggested that they could fly to Goa, (India) where Russell Brand had proposed his lady love on New Year's Eve.

The couple has already sent out save-the-date cards to friends and family for their wedding. The hand-shaped wedding card is adorned with beautiful henna designs, that is a special to the Indian culture.

The guests have been requested to keep a week's off in October, for they would tie the holy knot on October 18.

"The wedding will be small. I always have tonnes of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each others' lives," said Katy.

"We don't want it to be a drunk fest of people, just one night and then forgetting about it. We want it to be everything about love," she added.
