Singer Katy Perry, 25, has made the most in surprising her comedian fiance Russell Brand with a birthday gift of 100,000 pounds that also includes an awesome trip to space .

Brand will get into the spaceship and climb to 50,000 ft before the rocket motor sends the craft hurtling towards the edges of the atmosphere, and zero gravity kicks in.

The songstress is said to have worn a astronaut"s costume to gift Brand at a surprise bash in LA where the actor celebrated his 35th birthday. She even oraganised for a cake with a Union Flag.

'The Sun' has it quoted from source as saying, “Russell thought it was just him and Katy going for dinner. He was bowled over when he walked into the restaurant and saw she had got all his pals and family together for a surprise party"

“Halfway through the dinner she walked in wearing a full astronaut outfit to give Russell the space trip. Everyone cheered for the Brit cake. Katy knows how proud he is of his roots," the source added.
